Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls were 1.00-2.00 higher.
Feeder steers and heifers were uneven, calves under 450 lbs were steady to 2.00
lower, calves over 450 lbs were 3.00 higher.
Supply included 413 feeder calves; 360 feeder yearlings; 71 replacement
cows; 59 slaughter cows; 10 slaughter bulls; and 0 replacement bulls. Feeder
supply consisting of about 35 percent English breed and English crosses; 30
percent Exotic and Exotic crosses; 35 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses; and 0
percent Holsteins and other dairy breeds. Feeder supply consisting of about 50
percent steers and bulls with 50 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted
average price in parenthesis.
