Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls were 2.00-3.00 lower. Feeder
steers were 2.00-4.00 lower. Feeder heifers were mostly steady to 3.00 higher.
Supply included 295 feeder yearlings; 241 feeder yearlings; 40 replacement
cows; 73 slaughter cows; 9 slaughter bulls; and 2 replacement bulls. Feeder
supply included about 35 percent English breed and English crosses; 35 percent
Exotic breed and Exotic crosses; 30 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses; and 0
percent Holsteins and other dairy breeds. Feeder supply consisting of 55
percent steers and bulls with 45 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted
average price in parenthesis.
