Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls were 3.00-4.00 higher.
Feeder steers and heifers were steady to 4.00 higher.
Supply included 300 feeder calves; 116 feeder yearlings; 61 replacement
cows; 77 slaughter cows; 6 slaughter bulls; and 3 replacement bulls. Feeder
supply consisted of about 35 percent English breed and English crosses; 35
percent Exotic breed and Exotic crosses; 27 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses;
and 3 percent Holsteins and other diary breeds. Feeder supply about 55 percent
steers and bulls with 45 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average
price in parenthesis.
