Compared to last week: Slaughter cows were firm. Slaughter bulls were weak. Feeder steers and feeder heifers were mostly steady to 2.00 higher. Supply included about 323 feeder calves; 253 feeder yearlings; 25 replacement cows; 43 slaughter cows; 9 slaughter bulls; and 2 replacement bulls. Feeder supply about 40 percent English breed and English crosses; 30 percent Exotic breed and Exotic crosses; 30 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses; and 0 percent Holsteins and other dairy breeds. Feeder supply consisting of about 50 percent steers and bulls with 50 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average price in parenthesis.
