Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. Feeder steers
and heifers were 4.00-6.00 higher, instances higher.
Supply included about 412 feeder calves, 361 feeder yearlings, 44 replacement
cows, 56 slaughter cows, 8 slaughter bulls, and 1 replacement bull. Feeder
supply about 35 percent English breed and English crosses, 35 percent Exotic
breed and Exotic crosses, 30 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses, and 0 percent
Holstein and other dairy breeds. Feeder supply consisting of 55 percent steers
and bulls with 45 percent heifers.
