Cattle Receipts: 972 Last week: 909 Last year: 1086

Compared to last week: Slaughter cows were steady. Slaughter bulls were 1.50
higher. Feeder steers and heifers were steady to 4.00 lower.
Supply included 498 feeder calves; 300 feeder yearlings; 73 replacement cows;
105 slaughter cows; 13 slaughter bulls; and 3 replacement bulls. Feeder supply
consisted of about 40 percent English breed and English crosses; 30 percent
Exotic breed and Exotic crosses; 30 percent Brahma and Brahma crosses; and 0
percent Holsteins and other dairy breeds. Feeder supply about 57 percent steers
and bulls with 43 percent heifers. Prices follow with weighted average price in
parenthesis.
